Cathedral Clergy

Clergy are available to provide pastoral support 24 hours a day. Please call 619.298.7261 for an appointment. If after hours, please listen for the recording to reach after-hours clergy. 

 

Cathedral Nurse

Our Cathedral Nurse provides health counseling, referral for health resources, assistance with obtaining needed medical services, health advocacy, home/extended care facility/hospital visitations, and Healing Touch sessions. Contact Nan Slavin, R.N. at 619.298.7261 x 359. 

 

Cathedral Visitors

The Cathedral Visitors program was established to provide to cathedral members who are unable to attend services. Cathedral Visitors are members of the cathedral who following their training and certification are then assigned to individual congregants. Eucharistic Visitors

Lay Eucharistic Visitors are lay people who bring the Holy Eucharist to those who are no longer physically able to join us for worship or have been hospitalized.  If you know someone who might appreciate having communion brought to them, or would like to get involved yourself, please call:  The Rev. Listening Hearts

The Listening Hearts Ministry seeks to make discernment a common spiritual practice at St. Paul’s. They help individuals and groups hear and respond to God’s call in their lives by providing trained discernment groups. Mobile Health Clinic

Through the Mobile Health Clinic, the Cathedral hosts full service medical care at no financial cost to those without insurance.  For locations and appointments, call 619.971.3800. 

 

San Diego Pastoral Counseling Center

The Cathedral is also home to the San Diego Counceling Center which offers ongoing pastoral counseling both to members of the Cathedral congregation as well as to the general community.  These ongoing services are offered on an affordable, sliding scale. Services provided are by trained and licensed counselors.  Info:  619.295.5871.
